Abundance is 11″ in diameter. It is not a heavily stitched piece. It is, instead, an explosion of colors from couched fibers, a few knots, and hundreds upon hundred of beads.
“I sometimes think I want to be a ‘less is more’ kind of person but it always comes back to more is more, well, everything. And I used to think that was wrong. (Spoiler, there is no wrong in art.) Now I realize that more means I have an abundance of all the things that bring me joy.
More beads. More layers. More textures. And, eventually, more love.”
