As we all know, the Internet is a vast wonderland of information. Here's a list of some of my favorite places to go for advice, marketing tips and inspiration. If you reach a dead link, I'd appreciate you letting me know so I can remove it from the page. This is by no means a comprehensive list, there are entire sites devoted just to the constant gathering of resources for writers. This is more like a look at my personal bookmarks file, compulsive and obsessive as it might be.

FOR CHILDREN WHO WANT TO WRITE

Kidpub More than 10,000 stories written by kids from all over the planet!

Kidworld Magazine. A good example of kids’ writing on the Internet.

Kid’s Space The site has many sections, including creative activities communication pages.

Midlink Magazine Electronic magazine created by kids, for kids in the middle grades—generally ages 10 to 15. Link middle school kids all over the world.

Red Inkworks

Scriptito’s Place Especially for young people ages 7–15. Vangar publishes things that people your own age have written to spotlight young talent, and to show you that you can do it too.

Young Writer Online Young Writer magazine publishes creative writing from children aged 6–16 from around the world. Designed to build a writer’s confidence.

The Young Writers Club This club encourages children of all ages to enjoy writing as a creative pastime by getting them to share their work and help each other improve their writing abilities. The online magazine is called Global Wave.
