Writing Exercises

I love writing exercises and prompts. When I do classroom workshops we do lots of them. It's a fun way to play with words with absolutely no pressure to have anything come out a certain way. Just pick an exercise and write. These are great warm-ups before you begin your regular writing day. They are also good for homeschoolers.

Get your word processor open, or grab a notebook and a pen, pick an exercise, and get ready to write!
