BRAVE WRITING:
LEARNING TO WRITE WITH EMOTIONAL HONESTY

In order to write the kinds of stories that ring true with our readers, we need to find the door, the tunnel, the secret passage from where we are right now to our dark areas, and back out again. Each of us will have a different path, and it is likely that each story will bring a different battle. Whether you are writing fiction or non-fiction, this interactive class/workshop will help you push past your fears and take your writing to the next level.

Every Monday and Wednesday I will mail out a "lesson" with homework. You have the choice to share your homework with the group or send it just to me. In addition, there will be group questions asked with each lesson that everyone in the group will be expected to answer and share so we can discuss them. (Examples of questions might be: What is the most difficult part about writing for you? What are your writing fears?) The homework will be writing prompts/exercises designed to help you dig deep and write with emotional honesty.

This class will run for 4 weeks, with lessons twice a week, for a total of 8 lessons.
Cost:
$99

I WANT TO WRITE BUT WHAT DO I DO?:
A WORKSHOP FOR BEGINNERS WHO WANT TO WRITE FOR CHILDREN

This is a nuts and bolts workshop for beginning writers. If you want to write but you don't know where to start or you have recently started writing and want some support and prods to keep you going, this is for you. It is part writing workshop and part group creativity coaching for people who want to write for children and need some help getting started.

Every Monday and Wednesday I will mail out a "lesson" with homework. You have the choice to share your homework with the group or send it just to me. In addition, there will be group questions asked with each lessong that everyone in the group will be expected to answer and share so we can discuss them. (Examples of questions might be: What books have you read this month? What area of writing interests you the most? What do you want to get out of your writing?) The homework will be writing prompts/exercises of various kinds in order to get you to experiment with different types of writing. I will send you a writer's questionnaire to fill out before the class begins.

This class will run for 4 weeks, with lessons twice a week, for a total of 8 lessons.
Cost:
$99

PAGES: GET YOUR NOVEL WRITTEN
This workshop is for those who are already working on a long project but want some help moving forward or for writers who want to start their novel. Each week you will send in one chapter (or a number of pages) to be shared and critiqued with the group. Because chapters can run long, this group is limited to 10 participants to make sure that everyone gets the attention they need. There are no "lessons" only your commitment to send in your chapter each week and to respond to others.

This class will run for 6 weeks.
Cost:
$99
