Look at the world through the eyes of child and you will never look at it the same way again.

if it's going to be too difficult for grownups, you write it for children." Madeleine L'Engle

SUBMIT YOUR THOUGHTS
ABOUT READING
FOR POSSIBLE INCLUSION IN THE BOOK

 The Book of Reading

I am gathering input about reading (books, newspapers, letters, backs of boxes of cereal) and how it affects people for possible inclusion in a book. I hope to hear from all walks of life; plumbers, carpenters, doctors, dentists, retail workers, stay-at-home moms, etc. I would love to hear your answers to the following five questions. Pieces chosen for inclusion will be paired with an illustration that also speaks to the subject of reading.

A portion of the proceeds from this book will be donated to a literacy group or program. (As yet to be determined.) There is no cutoff date for submissions as, at this time, the book is still unsold.

Please encourage your reading friends and family to respond as well.

MANY THANKS & HAPPY READING!

What does reading mean to you?

How has reading impacted your life?

How has the way you read (as well as what you read) changed over time?

What do you get from reading that you can’t (or don't want to) get anywhere else?

Why should we read?

If you have any further thoughts about reading or any other comments, please share them here.
